Party pooper. Tongue

I'd love to, but it presents the wrong image. Big Grin

To be perfectly honest, once one has seen Ellen January in spiked heels and leather, no one else should even bother to try. Big Grin

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

And bad on the back - my Mom wore off 2 discs walking around for 40 years on shoes like that.

Personally, I wear the big girl shoes on special occasions... usually only for a few hours. They are almost like little sculptures.

I've noticed some designers have been getting fairly smart about catering to healthy back and foot concerns. They can disguise a lot with a platform base; it makes the heal look really tall when it only puts you up a couple of inches from a two or three inch platform. All the height is in the shoe without conforming to a ridiculous and uncomfortable heal rise.

I tried on a pair of Calvin Klein platforms with a chunky heal the other day... they were quite comfy and they added at least 5 inches to my height. Probably should have snapped them up ... but they were white. Confused Blech.

You had me shaking my head until I got to the 'white ' part...oh no.. Totally with ya now on the pass.

I wear sensible heel to run around in. It actually lessons my back pain. Super heels...well for a few hours I can suck it up.

My favorite are my stiletto pump...oh my they are comfy and cute...but they were totally expensive...like I think my husband turned white and threw up when he got the bill.

Those I could wear all day....very rare for me.

All other shoes are attempts at sinning, and you just wanna be atheists because you wanna wear evil shoes. All platform shoes are of the devil. Repent before you die, and it's too late.

Hate shoe-shopping. Blech. And most other shopping in general. But, in the words of the great Blackadder:
