Free will.

Which, by the way, is not even a biblical idea.

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

This was compounded when I left religion several years ago by the concrete knowledge that there is no god, and that even if there were it had chosen not to doing anything about it.

How do you rationalize all the bad in the world?

I live my life and if I bump into something I can do something about I try to do the aforementioned something about the something. Then I go eat the flesh of corpses, cut into delicious slices and sold in supermarkets.

I have somewhat severe social anxiety, and I'm not sure how I'm going to fix it yet. I don't completely avoid people, but conversations with people I don't know are usually very difficult. I'm not even sure how I'm going to get a job.

I know the struggle man, 21 and still living with my mother because adulting is difficult when being around strangers or doing something completely new makes you sick to your stomach.

I'm sorry you guys have to deal with that. Have you tried talking to someone about it?

Haven't gone to a therapist for anything yet, personally.

It might help to talk to somebody who specializes in anxiety disorders.

You do realize severe anxiety makes it hard to open up and talk to strangers right? Which is what makes it so difficult to deal with.

I understand that, and I'm sure it's not an easy thing to do, but it could be an opportunity for a better life if you get help.

Could be but does not work for everyone.
