That or just ignoring the problem until I feel nothing.

***scribble, scribble - pretends problems don't really exist, ignores real feelings - probably nutcase - more therapy needed

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

I'm in like company. I, too, use humor or denial of emotion to cope.

Oh, wow. Open femur fractures and intestines hanging out that the paramedics had to unwrap from the steering wheel? I have a gut feeling that shit hurts.

You're probably not that fucked up.....

The main thing I got out of my psych class was the Pavlovian response. Sociology was more fun.

No, I think she salivates for open femur fractures. And guts. Consider

No no no. I just meant it's what I remember from class. Tongue Psych 101 wasn't near as interesting as I had hoped it would be. I found psych research to be really boring, and that's mostly what we studied. We didn't cover mental illness at all.

Nursing Psych, on the other hand, was really interesting.... up until the point that I was locked in the room during clinicals with 12 psych patients in crisis with just me and one other nursing student. One patient was seeing blood dripping down the walls, one was restrained to her bed for violent outbursts with her manic swing, one was telling me about how he was a serial killer (delusional), another one was borderline and decided she was in love with me and wanted to be my bestest besty best friend forever and ever and I could never ever leave her...
