Economy:

Quote:1) Create a dynamic booming economy that will create 25 million new jobs over the next decade.
So that's 2.5 million per year. So basically less than the average number both Clinton and Carter created.

Quote:2) For each 1 percent in added GDP growth, the economy adds 1.2 million jobs. Increasing growth by 1.5 percent would result in 18 million jobs (1.5 million times 1.2 million, multiplied by 10 years) above the projected current law job figures of 7 million, producing a total of 25 million new jobs for the American economy.
How? Tinkle down economics again?

Quote:3) Reform policies with a pro-growth tax plan, a new modern regulatory framework, an America-First trade policy, an unleashed American energy plan, and the “penny plan.”
Tinkle down economics it is then. This time we'll add an isolationist trade policy in a globalized economy. That ought to do the trick. Tinkle down economics worked so well for Bush I that he averaged 660,000 jobs per year and his son averaged 160,000 jobs per year. Brilliant!

Quote:Boost growth to 3.5 percent per year on average, ....
Yeah. Not like that pussy 3.66% we've been averaging over the last 7 years under Obama.

Quote:... with the potential to reach a 4 percent growth rate.
Yeah. Not like that pathetic 4.56% growth rate in 2010 or that wimpy 4.31% in 2013 or that 4.07% in 2014 under Obama.

And that's how he plays you for the fool Lord Dick Head. He's basically promising to do LESS for the economy than Obama did. You don't know enough to call bullshit and worse yet, you don't seem to care. They call that hero worship.

RE: The Electoral College
@GirlyMan

That's the oldest trick in the book for politician. Vow to create economical growth that are perfectly predictable and expected due to the current economical situation if the status quo is, somewhat, maintained and make it pass like if it's going to be due to their politics. Most people don't know these numbers and on paper they look awfully big and impressive without being completly insane or stupid (2.5 million job per year looks massive, yet not that impressive considering it was done before during periods of steady economical growth). How do you think most politicians can achieve a success rate of around 75% when it comes to fulfulling their electoral promises? Most of those promises are those they cannot fail in the first place unless they face unexpected and terrible crisis. CEO do the same thing, promise the expected to their investors like its an extraordinary achievements and thanks to their sound leadership. The mark of a great leader is sometime to steal someone else work and effort, mix it and make it pass as your own.

Freedom is servitude to justice and intellectual honesty.

There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever of election fraud of any kind by either side. The opposition to Trump via the Dem's attempts to influence the electoral college vote could only be seen as political in nature, not any serious attempt to correct a wrong vote result.

The Russians (according to the FBI and CIA) hacked the Dems AND released hacked Wikileaks info during the last few weeks, and Comey illegally interfered. THAT is interference. I never said there was election fraud. Trump said BEFORE he had any facts, when it looked like he was going to lose, the election was rigged. AFTER the fact, AFTER there was evidence, the Dems questioned things. That is NOT THE SAME. The Constitution set up the electoral college for a reason. The state rules that "require" a voter to do anything are unconstitutional. They are not "votes" if anyone is required to do anything. OF COURSE the Dems are "political" you idiot. It's politics. But YOUR attempt to say the actions of Trump and the Dems are the same thing is 100% wrong.

There aren't a lot of facts in there, actually. He pulled the GDP growth numbers under Obama, for instance, right out of his ass. His dishonest decision to compare Trump's planned job growth to the two highest job growth rates in the past 100 years instead of either the average or the job growth under his predecessors (which was rather lackluster in comparison) the way he did with the GDP is also worth noting. Not that any of this is surprising, mind you. There's a reason I've had him on ignore for months now.

I honestly thought about replying to that as well, but for the same reason of bogus/incomplete/misleading stats you point out, I didn't bother. Thank you for pointing that out.

Hacking email accounts is not the same thing as hacking an actual election. There is no election fraud allegation of any substance. And you still don't bother addressing the substance of those leaked emails. Again, if this were GOP emails leaked to the NY Times and published by their reporters, they would be awarded Pulitzer prizes for investigative journalism.

Is it completely and entirely impossible for you to separate the issue of the validity of the content and the source of the content? Americans by and large do not like HOW the content was released or WHO we suspect did it. But we all suspected it was the Russians BEFORE we cast our votes, and Democrats repeatedly pointed out the source of the leaks, giving Americans ample information to make an informed decision. Yes, Americans took the leaked information into account--by all indications, and confirmed multiple times by multiple targets of the leaks themselves, it was truthful information.

As I have stated before, it would be entirely different if those leaked emails were fabricated, fraudulent, or misleading. But nobody has alleged that they were fake emails. You're just pissed off that the corruption of DNC and key Democratic operatives were outed for the American people to see. And until Democrats address the substance of the leaks and/or cease trying to use Russian meddling as a means of delegitimizing a duly elected president of the US, this will just be a partisan exercise by bitter Democrats angry over losing an election to an orange clown. Trump is just as much your fault as he is the GOP's--Clinton wanted to run against him, and the DNC rigged their process to guarantee her nomination. Your side got the election you wanted.

I wish they had leaked Trump's convos with his kids and his tax returns. I bet lots of interesting things there...
