Has anybody else noticed that Metallica has sounded awesome recently? I watched their Rock Am Ring 2014 set and James had that growl in his voice that he lost back in the mid-90's.

Metallica haven't sounded awsome since 1986 "Master of Puppets"
They haven't sounded good since 1988"...and Justice for all"

They have sounded a mix of mediocre to awful for the last 26 years.

RE: The Headbangers thread
What do you guys think about Christians in Metal bands like Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, As I Lay Dying, and Chevelle (or so I've heard)? These are musicians who claim to be Christian but their religion doesn't seem to affect their musical styles nor do they use music to preach to others.

Personally, I'm fine with it. I don't care what an entertainer's faith is, just that they're entertaining. As far as the message of their music goes, I don't much care for any music that preaches to it's listeners, one way or another.
