RE: The Iran Contra Affair
Is your goal in the history section to remind people of famous incidents that we have all heard of?...Before veering off and somehow linking it to Al Qaeda and the Nazis?

Behold the power of the force!

Are you implying history that is already known isn't to be posted in the history section?

Drinking Beverage

History that is not known is usually labeled conspiracy theory right?

Sure.

I remember watching Oliver North testifying (on TV).

Amazing to consider that he later became a talk show host.

Nonsense is nonsense, but the history of nonsense is a very important science.

You missed the point.

It's the tone you write in that betrays your preconceived notions of what we do and don't know/believe. I've seen several posts of yours where you are bringing up a topic while claiming something along the lines of "well you all clearly didn't know this..." or "well of course you don't think that..." and what not. I know that most of the times you do this, the assertions you make about the people here don't apply to either myself or most of the members that I can think of. I question how frequently you actually take the time to read the posts of other members outside of responses to your own topics since many of your blanket statements could be easily dismissed with a cursory reading of posts in places like the politics section (other than simply the topics you created).
