The Law of Averages says --
In an infinite universe - the infinite is possible.

That makes me wonder.

In any religious group - you're going to have "unbelievers" that attend the meetings on a regular basis -- simply for the camaraderie of belonging to a group.

The law of averages say that some groups will have more unbelievers, some less - but most will have a given number that is the average - in the middle.

But ----

Isn't it possible -- that there's a church somewhere - where NOBODY actually believes in the doctrine of that church - where EVERYONE is an atheist - but nobody knows that everyone else is one?

The irony??

The guy who gets excommunicated - for stating his unbelief.

.....

That's be MY luck...

heh

The difference between prayer and masturbation - is when a guy is through masturbating - he has something to show for his efforts.

Yes, they accept atheists...but they also preach. They also talk about "god" and if you say something negative about it...

You could be asked to leave.

They demand respect for all beliefs.

They also tend to think of atheism as a "belief" as well.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces
