Also, will Raptor Jesus come again to boil the living and the dead?

Okay, so I finally got a response, in regard to the OP.

I had asked her: "Do you really think that Jesus Literally made it rain just for you? Like, literally? Or are you just being contemplative?"

Now, I worded it this particular way because I wanted to get an actual response. If I left that last part off she likely would have just thought I was being an ass, and responded as thought I was attacking her. That in my mind it's either literal, or that she's nuts. I wrote it this way so that she could understand I'd give her a third option, that she's just being contemplative, so that she might not take offence and actually respond. It is a bit annoying that we have to spend so much time moving on egg shells to not offend them, just so we can ask some basic questions. But either way, between us, I just think it's nuts.

This was her reply: "I believe that my heart was open to the blessing of rain. My heart was filled with joy this morning as I was able to witness it rain. All good things come from God as there is no good thing apart from him. So, yes, in this way, I believe I was given a gift this morning. Not sure if I answered your question or not. Spiritual things are not always so black and white."

And she just edited and changed her response to: "OH! Here it is put better--there was a blessing of rain, and my heart was open to receive it."

Open-heart delugery?

Or just open heart delusion?

No

IKR?
I have to wonder if she and her girlfriends get together and talk about what Jesus' dick must be like.

.... sounds like she's it's mostly a good-attitude, bad-attitude thing. Like, "it rained today, and because Jesus is in my heart I felt it was a glorious thing, and without Jesus I would have felt it was miserable." So, basically, religion as a feel-good drug.
