RE: The Official Peanut Butter Thread :D
Something very upsetting occurred in my home this evening. I prepared my favorite peanut butter treat, which consists of peanut butter and a little soy milk folded in with cocoa powder and powdered sugar. I love that stuff. I set my little dessert bowl of peanuty goodness down on the counter and I plan to eat it as soon as I'm done with dinner.

When I returned to the counter, I noticed ingredients sitting out, but no peanut treat! There, sitting on the sofa was the vicious thief who "Leggo my eggo'ed" my peanut butter.

Angry

She looks up at me with my bowl in one hand and a spoonful of peanut butter in the other and all she said was, "What? You're not the only one feeling hormonal."

Bitch! You know that shit syncs up for women!

(prep time 10 minutes)

Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon milk
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 carton (12 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 graham cracker crust (9 inches)
Dry roasted peanuts

Directions
1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter and milk until smooth. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spoon into crusts. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Sprinkle with peanuts. Yield: 2 pies (6-8 servings each).

Now for me I would use a vanilla wafer crust but I don't care much for graham crackers but to each their own.

Scientific American had a recent article about using peanut butter to diagnose Alzheimers.

Buy I don't remember what they said.

Get two slices of bread.

Spread margarine.
Then spread chilli sauce (the hotter the better) to add some heat
Then spread Marmite (or Vegemite) to add some saltiness
Then peanut butter for energy and texture.
Combine to make a sandwich.

I have this every day. I've never convinced anyone of this recipe but it works. In fact eating it right now.

Will butter work just as well? I don't have any margarine.

Never tried it but I see no reason why it shouldn't. You need something like butter or margarine to make it easier to apply the Chilli sauce and Marmite smoothly.

RE: The Official Peanut Butter Thread :D
I live in a society where it is thought strange for a man to feed himself. My lady starts out "I'd like to go see my daughter manana, but how would you eat?"
I say "I'll have a chance to eat my peanut butter."
"Oh that stuff is awful." is her reply.
"Not as nasty as your guandules and mashed up yuca together." {Guandules being a type of bean more or less like soy beans and yuca is a root that can't quite be confused with potatoes.}
"But that is the best thing there is."
Just go spend the day with your daughter in peace. I was cooking for my own kids before you were born,"
She does go see her daughter and when she comes back brings me mofongo (as described above) looks and tastes like Camel dung or from some other ruminant animal.
