RE: The Onion
WTF is this, this is great. But I am confused at how much is real and how much is farce. So, is there a sign on Sears Towers? Smile

Er, the Onion is one of the best 'news' outlets on the web.

No, no sign on the tower.

I don't know why but I rarely like outright humour attached to my news. I had the same issue with Royal Canadian Air Farce, This Hour Has Twenty Two Minutes etc. The closest I've come to genuinely liking comedy and news inter-spliced would have to be The Daily Show.

I don't know why.

I enjoy the headlines from places like The Onion, but otherwise I agree with you. Once you have had the punchline it feels like an effort to continue reading or listening to the satire. That's probably why I like The Daily Show because the jokes are quick and many.

Because you're a believer. The news ain't news, it's sensationalized entertainment.

I love The Onion. Their news cast on IFC is a riot. I actually thought it was Fox News when I first came across it. Broole Alvarez the anchor embodies everything wrong with the media today.

RE: The Onion
I can't say I believe anything I read or see on tv. I mostly get my news from everywheres minus fox news on tv as that's just hard to watch.
I've always known that not one source will give you all of the goods. Even if they don't have a bias they might just not have the best sources.
