It seems now that Trump does believe in climate change and also that it is 'partly' driven by human activity. He still didn't sign the Paris agreement.

How perfectly Trumpian. Dodgy

Trump was one of the signatories in a number of businessmen that asked Obama to sign the Paris Agreement, he seems to U-turn on everything

Oh no. He's here - God

He has no ideology himself. In the right hands, if all the nitwits on his team were gone, he might do decent things. He only parrots what impresses him the most at the time. He is completely opportunistic, he does what seems to benefit him the most (and errs bigly).

That's on the same lines as If the Führer only knew. Assuming that he would do better things if left to his own devices, he would continue to work for his own benefit and glory. Maybe without looking out for others having the power to keep him in or to remove him from office. But that's all there is to it.

Oh no, that is not what I meant.

Never on his own! He needs handlers. With the right handlers he might do decent things.

He lives on ideation, which he gets from his environment. He has no actual opinion, except to do what seems to benefit him. He needs nannies to check his exposure and whisper in his ear, and Bannon doesn't make a good nanny.

I am really surprised sometimes that he does seem to have some money (wanna see those taxes!)

It now seems as though some government instrumentalities, which including thirty mayors, three governors, more than 80 university presidents, plus more than 100 private companies (who all agree with the concept of climate change) are preparing to submit a plan to the UN pledging to meet the United States' greenhouse gas emissions targets under the Paris climate accord. Whether or not it's accepted is another question yet to be answered, because there's currently no formal mechanism for entities that were not countries to be full parties to the Paris accord.

So... let's hope Trump gets truly fucked over by this.

He will, even if it doesn't work out. It disrespects the king!
