The Prince of Egypt
As is the case with the Wiser Family videos (http://www.thethinkingatheist.com/forum/...this-exist http://www.thethinkingatheist.com/forum/...s-exist-2) I have early memories of the film The Prince of Egypt, but more recent ones. Unlike the wiser family videos however, I still find myself enjoying this film. Here (ILLEGAL Big Grin):

That's okay. The animation is beautiful and the music won it an Oscar if not wrong. I liked the new take on the story, that Moses and the Pharaoh has a strong brotherly relationship, meaning that the Pharaoh is never capable of killing him (which I never understood in the bible, I mean, he's right there, kill him!). When it comes to God, I think they tried to make him a little more, "humane". But you still get to see all the seven plauges, and how unpractical and downright evil this so called "all wise being" really is. But in the end, The Prince of Egypt is a movie I can watch as a child and now because it doesn't try to convert you. It's a well known fictional story, just like any other well known fairytale from the Middle-East or Europe.

It's ironic really; my second favorite song in the film is "Deliver Us" (my favorite of course is the one sung by the magicians).
