He was the lighthouse keeper.

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.

These have started to sound like a game we call "Blue Stories" here. You provide the ending or a part of the story and the others have to find what happened, asking yes or no questions. Not exactly a riddle, is it? Consider

Oh, it's that one? The version I know is with dead bodies out of his window.

Yes, not exactly a riddle. Big Grin By riddles I meant the ones where you tell a riddle and the solution is reached by understanding the words (or the play of them).

So... was Hafnof right? If so, it's your turn. Tongue

Subject to confirmation of my answer, here goes:
Seven men were on their way to church when it started to rain. The six that hurried were soaked but the one that stayed still was dry.

^Funeral procession.

I'm comfortable in answering that right off the bat because I don't think your answer to the riddle Tartarus posted is correct.

I believe we're due a clue? (If others agree. Obviously.)

Yes, Hafnof was right. He was a lighthouse keeper who read about a shipwreck in the paper's the next morning since he shut off the light too early.

I'm slow when I'm fat and fast when I'm thin, my gold is spent with my life and I am a great exploration tool yet constantly require shelter.
