I did giggle when I read this

Like no one saw it coming?

I'd love to know what crap a congress person looks at online. Heh...

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Tor doesn't seem to be very stable, at least when I tried it. And if you're trying to cover your tracks you'll still need a VPN... and I can't imagine VPN sellers are all that scrupulous. They're probably tracking you too.

You might try Epic. It has a built-in proxy that you can turn on or off as needed. I don't know that much about it though, frankly, and it may not be all it's cracked up to be.

I've never actually tried any of the anonymizers. There's really no point with the chip already in my head and whatnot.

They are repealing rules that were not even in effect yet. Your privacy is no more at risk than it was a week ago or even a month ago. As much as I hate Trump and what he does, it's not that serious.

That's why I wrote that I'm not happy about it, but truthfully I'm not worried either.

Since I had a death in the family this week I was looking up the funeral home and obituary. Now I'm getting life insurance adds on Google.

How shitty.

I share your anger at this unwarranted intrusion into your life by self-styled demigod Google. I'm using an ad blocker, and don't get any ads on its page.

Hope everything else is going okay mate. Smile
