RE: The Terminator vs. The Bible
Okay some similarities:

Kyle Reese goes back in time to tell Sarah Connor (Mary) she's going to give birth to the Savior of mankind (John/Jesus). So basically the explanation he gives her is the Annunciation.

As the Terminator lays waste to all the people between it and Sarah Connor, it can be a parallel with the slaughter of the innocents in Bethlehem in one of the Gospels.

John Connor and Jesus Christ, both JC.

Jesus is born into a vast war whose end cannot be altered, John Connor is born in the backdrop of a vast war (of now temporal proportions) whose end cannot be altered.

Sarah flees with her son to Mexico to avoid being killed; Mary and Joseph fled with Jesus to Egypt to avoid being killed.

Man faces Judgment Day for his sins, be it sins in the Bible, or sins in the Terminator franchise of building nuclear weapons, handing them and their control over to machines.

Themes of self sacrifice.

Also both Sarah and Jesus attract converts who are willing to lay down their life for their new beliefs.

We could also say, if we're continuing to stretch, the Terminator being reprogrammed in the future and sent to stop the more advanced model in Terminator 2 is a parallel to Saul being blinded on the road to Damascus and taking the name Paul, and spreading Christianity.

Need to think of a witty signature.

That was outstanding!

JC = John Conner. LOL. What would John do?

They're both fiction.

I'm a creationist... I believe that man created God.
