The Thrill Is Gone, BB King Dies 89
Wasn't into his music myself, but always knew who he was. He had a big impact on all types of music and certainly his fans and the music world will miss him.

IMHO he goes down as a guitar legend. Forever grateful for the musical influence he had on me!

I got into his music after hearing him play with SRV in videos and on CDs.

Great talent. He certainly influenced a lot of artists. Seemed to be a good guy too.

Undecided

Another living legend has passed, though the gift he has left us is immense. Rest in peace B.B.

His death really is the end of an era of music. There are plenty of blues musicians out there, but very few who play that kind of blues... BB played it the old-school way, with feel, taste and tone.
