RE: The Trump Impeachment Thread
Meanwhile the Big Orange just hit a new low, hard to imagine this is even possible. Big Grin

President Trump’s Approval Ratings Just Hit a New All-Time Low

"President Donald Trump's approval ratings have fallen to their lowest point since the start of his presidency, a new poll finds.
Just 38% of Americans approve of the job Trump is doing as President, while 58% disapprove, according to the latest NBC/WSJ poll.”

"NBC News notes that the voters who reported the biggest drop in their approval of Trump include independents, white Americans, and white Americans without a college degree. The lattermost group constitutes a key part of Trump’s voter base."

Cue LDH and fake news. Laugh out load

RE: The Trump Impeachment Thread
I wonder how many people are going to be indicted. This, imo, is worse than Watergate because it involves illegally taking information to help in an election but, with Trump, he got hold of the information via a sanctioned, hostile state, had surrogates meeting with Russians to discuss foreign policy, changed the RNC platform on sanctions re Crimea and...all the rest.

Here's the tally on Watergate:
In the aftermath of Richard Nixon’s resignation, Watergate continued to claim victims.
The final toll included:

one presidential resignation
one vice-presidential resignation – although Agnew’s crimes were unrelated to Watergate
40 government officials indicted or jailed
H.R. Haldeman and John Erlichman (White House staff), resigned 30 April 1973, subsequently jailed
John Dean (White House legal counsel), sacked 30 April 1973, subsequently jailed
John Mitchell, Attorney-General and Chairman of the Committee to Re-elect the President (CREEP), jailed
Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy (ex-White House staff), planned the Watergate break-in, both jailed
Charles Colson, special counsel to the President, jailed
James McCord (Security Director of CREEP), jailed

Isn't this exactly what Hillary did? Bought information (the dossier) from a foreign agent (A british spy) who supposedly received the information from Russian spies?

Is that collusion? Dems want to call it "opposition research" when their gal does it, but if Trump did it, it's collusion?

Come on.

I actually thought about this, but have decided to wait and see what the charges are and who's charged.

There might be a difference between "opposition research" and straight up trying alter election results by spreading "fake news" on social media and elsewhere and trying to influence (or perhaps even manipulate) the FBI with false information in the days leading up to the election. We do know that fake accounts and ads that were purchased, all over places like FaceBook and shared often by people who did legitimately support trump and because they're too lazy to google or fact check. Other people read that (in their circle) and assume it must be true because they "know them" and even if it's pointed out to be false they still argue that it doesn't matter or they don't trust the 50 or so sources (sometimes including fox news) that say it's not true.

This is all because it sounds right in their head.

You republicans have been using the Hillary card crutch for the longest time. When are you going to give it up and act like adults. If she was so adept at collusion she'd have won the election. Furthermore, if she was so good and fantastic at all the nonsense you accuse her of doing, according to your crooked-cop-warped-views, she'd make a great president. Gawd, you're such a fool.

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

No, dumb-ass, it's NOT the same. AT ALL.
The EX-British spy was not working for a government. He was/is a private investigator, now.
PAYING for opposition research is perfectly legal.
Meeting with representatives of the Russian government, who OFFERED to provide dirt on her, which is neither paid for, nor legal. Did Clinton receive help from, or try to receive help from a foreign government for her campaign ? No.

I realize simple distinctions escape your simple mind, but do try to keep up.

And the reports about Clinton are saying she paid a British spy to get information from Russian spies (actual Russian government employees).

Show me where Trump or trump people met with Russian government representatives to get dirt.
