Basically he talked a lot of shit during the election but didn't believe any of it. If Obama era policy is extended and tension with Iran eases that's a win for everyone.

Oh, I completely agree. While I am not privy to the details in the Iran deal, from what I understand it seems to be accomplishing its goal: the suspension of Iran's nuclear capabilities.

The irony is that Trump supporters took him - a confirmed liar - at his word during the election campaign. They shouldn't be shocked that he's a liar as president.

"The man who coauthored 'Art of the Deal' with Donald Trump ― a book often cited on the campaign trail last year ― said the president will soon look for a way out of all of his administration’s scandals. 'There is no right and wrong for Trump, there’s winning and losing,' Tony Schwartz told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. 'And right now, he is in pure terror that he is going to lose.' Schwartz predicted that Trump would ultimately 'lose,' but said he won’t go through an impeachment process. 'I surely believe that at some point over the next period of time he’s going to have to figure out a way to resign,' Schwartz said in comments posted online by Mediaite. But in quitting, Trump will try to 'figure out a way, as he has done all his career, to turn a loss into a victory so he will declare victory when he leaves.'

"Michael Flynn and other advisers to Donald Trump’s campaign were in contact with Russian officials and others with Kremlin ties in at least 18 calls and emails during the last seven months of the 2016 presidential race, current and former U.S. officials familiar with the exchanges told Reuters. The previously undisclosed interactions form part of the record now being reviewed by FBI and congressional investigators probing Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election and contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russia."

Trump calls his situation the greatest witch hunt of a politician in history.

Somewhere there's a Kenyan Islamist socialist terrorist who disagrees.

Not entirely surprising that he'd say that. Hyperbole is his stock-in-trade.

Besides, it's much, much easier to blame "the media" or "the elites" or "the leaks" rather than actually accept responsibility for fucking things up.

He's already thinking about it. In his brief stream of consciousness at his speech yesterday, he repeated: "Never, ever, ever, ever, ever give up!" That line got applause and he looked like he as going to cry there for a second.

He often says just what he is thinking, and obviously he is entertaining the thought of walking out already.

The base, especially. I've never seen a bigger group of crybabies. It's always someone else's fault.

He's the worst president we've ever had. His ranking will be at the bottom....45. The number 45 should be, from now on, associated with narcissism, failure and self centered idiocy.

45!!!..... Hobo Bangin Beat_stick Shocking

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

RE: The Trump Impeachment Thread
So, I'm thinking that Rosenstein's name was dishonestly used by the Trumpsters, on the letter firing Comey. His revenge was the Special Council. Laugh out load What goes around, comes around. Can't wait for the books to come out, detailing all the shenanigans in the West Wing, during Dumpy's reign brief presidency.

The things I think he's worried about coming to light, are not so much Russian collusion in the election, but the things the Russians know about Trump Inc's many many financial crimes, (against the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), some of which have been detailed in the New Yorker.

Edit: One more thing, I think the media has wrong. The US stock market is over-bought. It was long past due for a "correction". Political events might trigger it, but it was about to happen anyway. The Fed notes that came out last month, says there was weakness in the economy, (which they thought was temporary). We'll see.

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.
