Because crAYg sounds terrible.

We make the sounds sound like their suppose to sound. We constantly have to clean up the language that y'all butchered.

Speaking of... way to leave out the pluralization of the word "you". Gotta leave it to the Americans to improve the language and give it a plural - "y'all"

Yes. Tongue

Also phonetically -tre does NOT make a "tur" sound. It makes a "tray" sound. Seriously.

Can not = can't
You all = y'all

Actually -tre needs an acute accent over the 'e' to make a 'tray' sound. Without it, it makes a 'trur' sound.

Plus you wanna get into pronunciation then answer the complete trainwreck that is Pittsburgh. If you wanna change the sound at least rename it Pittsberg.

Don't you go blamin' us Americans for that. That came from Brit influence. If an American named it, it would be called "Pitsville".

Don't blame you?

Not our fault, we gave you a perfectly simple place name, you're the ones who wrote it down then didn't possess adequate reading skills to read it back to yourselves. Who's fault is that?

I suppose in a way it could be our fault, we shoulda known that you'd never cope with two syllable words.
