Relaxing, haunting song from Buckethead, play these at the same time for a nice effect (one of the most chill songs I've encountered):

Two words: Buddha Bar. This is only a 15 minute sampler.

You can down load all the different albums and they all run at least an hour or so.
This one actually has some lively stuff but still fairly mellow.

I couldn't resist another ... this one is over an hour.

Never know what you'll get with Buddha Bar. Shy

The Ultimate CHILL music thread.
I really only listen to music on my drive home from work. Since I drive through a mountain pass with a sometimes nearly 1000 foot drop on o e side and I am usually tired after work, "chill music" isn't usually my first choice. I've been listening to rock, electro and world music for the drive.

But, I do know of some: Marconi Union. There are some fine tracks by My Brightest Diamond and Portishead which can also be nice to chill to. Also some tracks by Dead Can Dance (or Lisa Gerrard).

Also Buscemi and some tracks by United Future Organization.

RE: The Ultimate CHILL music thread.
I try to listen to some stuff that has some diversity. I'm trying to wake up, get excited, be motivated, be inspired, chill and go to sleep, all to the same songs. That's why I listen to Slum Village.

I listen to the same music over and over again. I try to listen to different artists, but then it's not chill enough, or it's not street enough, or it's not funky enough, or it's not smooth enough, or it's not hard enough, or it's not funny enough...so, it's back to the basics.

If I'm trying to chill, I'm definitely not going on a quest, so it's some SV or Dilla, and wake me up in the morning.
