RE: The Whispering Thread
Ooh... horrible memories, here. Up until about four years ago, the town I'm in used to be a HUGE slaughter house town. Everyone once in a while, a few cows would mutiny and escape. They would desperately run through town searching for freedom, an open plain, anywhere they could be safe from ... the inevitable. I felt so sad for the desperate cows being chased by wranglers in little pickup trucks with shotguns. I know the look in the cow's eyes as they run... the certainty that there is no escape. The company no longer slaughters at this plant, but memories never escape.

A new type of thinking is essential if mankind is to survive and move to higher levels. ~ Albert Einstein

That's disheartening. This reminds me of when I was 7 months pregnant with my first born. I went camping with my mom and in a field next to the campground the cow's calves had been taken from them that day. The call from those cows for their babies is harrowing and haunting. It was a horrible unforgettable sound.

I think that should work.

I watched it, I liked it Smile.

Best and worst of Ferdinand .....
Best
Ferdinand: We don't really say 'theist' in Alabama. Here, you're either a Christian, or you're from Afghanistan and we fucking hate you.
Worst
Ferdinand: Everyone from British is so, like, fucking retarded.

RE: The Whispering Thread
I frequently get bored when I have nobody to talk to.... And whispering is certainly not my strong suit.

RE: The Whispering Thread
I'm afraid of my dad. I sometimes wish there was a god who would love me and like, hug me and give me bliss when I die. I sometimes think I am inherently an omega male born to serve and not follow and be treated with disdain. I sometimes get the urge to put on makeup and pretty pretty clothes. When I was a little boy I killed a mouse by throwing a rock at it and I still feel remorse to this day.

The idea that theists will silence atheists or athiests will silence theists scares the hell out of me.
