Hoping my boss will give me few days off at the end of the month so I can go to SC and spend time with my daughter and grandkids. My birthday is that weekend and granddaughter's birthday party is also that weekend.

And I could really use a few days away from home.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

Sometimes I pick my nose and look at what comes out of it. Don't tell anyone.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Realized yesterday that my newborn son shares a birthday with a close friend who committed suicide eight years ago. I know it means nothing, but it's trippy nonetheless.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

I need my wife to be more accepting of my atheism. I don't think it is going to happen.

I'm scared of dying.

So many cats, so few good recipes.
