Are you a real person?

The comics don't belong in this thread. Stop posting them please.

Some of the landscape photos make me believe in Middle Earth.

I'm not anti-social. I'm pro-solitude. Sleepy

First picture of the shadow of an atom

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

Little starfish, just chillin'.

These were all taken at Taylors Falls, which is roughly an hour away from where I live.

Sadly, there are no actual FALLS at Taylors Falls. From what I could understand, the fault for that lies with the power plant. Sad

RE: The World Through Atheist Goggles.
Ester, I deleted all eleven of the cartoons you posted, all of which were separate posts, making over a page of posts that had nothing to do with the thread.

We don't censor posts here as a rule, and we also stay away from telling people to "keep it on topic", but in this case I decided the right call was to delete the posts, since it meant scrolling through a bunch of irrelevant, and poorly made cartoons.

In the future, try to keep in mind that spamming is against our rules. And posting eleven separate posts that are completely out of place is sure to set off the old spam radar with myself and the mods.

So many cats, so few good recipes.

May I borrow a pair of atheist goggles so I can appreciate pictures of trees and kittens as much as you do?

RE: The World Through Atheist Goggles.
Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. It is located in County Antrim on the northeast coast of Northern Ireland.
The tops of the columns form stepping stones that lead from the cliff foot and disappear under the sea. Most of the columns are hexagonal, although there are also some with four, five, seven or eight sides. The tallest are about 12 metres (39 ft) high, and the solidified lava in the cliffs is 28 metres thick in places.

A new type of thinking is essential if mankind is to survive and move to higher levels. ~ Albert Einstein
