GC Fish - an entire library of species on my phone w/o the need for wifi
Radar US+ - up to the minute animated weather radar
Word Lens - lets you aim your smart phone at a sign in another language and makes the translation

I like TripIt for travel. I hate having to figure out where I need to be when and in which time zone. TripIt usually only needs to you forward your itinerary to their email address and whoosh: Done.

I use inbox for email. Much better than gmail app. The game in currently working on clocking us "Willa's Walk"
