I think so to. And I think he's in highly sensitive and highly serious planning to start something and is excited about it and can't resist the temptation to hint to everyone that he knows something everyone else doesn't hehe. He's that child-like.

RE: The calm before the storm
At the same military dinner he expressed that he needed them to submit courses of action much faster to him. Maybe the generals are stalling... I think the other guys in the white house are trying like heck to control him, sending him places to give prompted speeches.

When Bannon left, he said that "the president isn't the president we elected anymore". This was right after trump was disappeared to camp David over the weekend - a place he does not like. I am thinking the generals raked him over the coals there, and he is basically cooperative, but only so he can play pranks on them.

And yes, he is that child like.

I think he is going to announce that the deal with Iran on their nuclear and ballistic programs is void for specious reasons. This could have a negative impact on any chances for a truce and a peaceful resolution of the Syrian civil war and severly damage the reputation of the US. Now, this country will be known as the one that can back down on its word and obligations at any point for petty reasons. Good luck to convince people to negociate and trust you after such a move.

Freedom is servitude to justice and intellectual honesty.

Any nation must have diplomats and policy makers that understand the US. Foreign policy now only gets a cursory glance from Congress, it seems to pretty much be the perogative of the executive branch, which potentially changes every four years. No nation should trust us in any kind of long-term arrangement.

Now?

"White man spoke with forked tongue" did originate in the Americas, after all.

It's not as though the United States has a long history of imperialistic fuckery in the Middle East, Africa, South America, Asia, or Europe or anything, right?

.

But the important thing is it's consistent fuckery. Smile

Presidents and their administrations have been talking to North Korea for 25 years, agreements made and massive amounts of money paid......

...hasn't worked, agreements violated before the ink was dry, makings fools of U.S. negotiators. Sorry, but only one thing will work!

RE: The calm before the storm
There will be a transition from listening to advisors who warn him of how disastrous a US first strike will be to those who tell him what he wants to hear, which is how painless, easy, surgical, and foolproof a US first strike will be. Then when it happens and millions die on both sides he will shrug and blame "the experts" for giving him bad advice.
