That is certainly interesting, and I am pleased that he has written you back, though I have not received a response. Of course, my email was a little less polite than yours, so I am not surprised.

There is a Chaplain Tithes and Funds account for different denominations, true, but apparently it contains much more money than I ever knew.

I still feel that his decision to move the event to a smaller location was wrong. The Rock Beyond Belief blog states that the theater was unsuitable because it would not accommodate the entirety of the audience. The commander says it was because the parade field was "not suitable".

It does not cost the Army a dime to use a parade field. Hell, they're not even locked. Any jerk can just walk on to one.

There is still the issue of "statements of intent" that they were required to submit that the Christian group was not. I smell someone trying to cover their @ss on this one. Of course, I am biased, though. Smile
