Fucking BD, your inner geek is showing. I'm with Erx on this one. Anne did a good job in engaging the head that doesn't look for plot holes.

It did kinda suck-like 7-compared to the previous 9/10, but it was entertaining.

Bane was entertaining and I like that it didn't go off on some weird tangent that was antithetical to the Batman universe, but Nolan had a great thing and had an opportunity to really end an epic story with an epic conclusion, and he failed. He failed hard. He might have provided some measure of entertainment, but I bought this movie because I anticipated more than entertainment, I anticipated a story that went in unison with the others and kept me putting the disc back in the player over and over again. Instead, I got some entertainment and a movie I probably will watch one more time before it sits collecting dust on the shelf.

And it isn't my inner geek, it is my inner nerd. I feel like I have had this conversation with someone else on here before.

The first one was a 9/10, but we both know the second was a 10/10. It's as awesome of a Batman movie as you could ever realistically hope for...Okay, on second thought a 9.7, only cause Bruce's love interest got distinctly worse looking because of a certain insane short man. Anyhow, the last film in the series was really about a 6.5 for me, for the reasons me and Beardo already desribed. Yeah, 6.5 is an okay movie, you don't leave the theater part way through, or anything dramatic, but after building up to it with awesome movies you feel cheated! How dare they!? It's like when I watched The Village. I knew it was going to be awesome, the dude that made the Sixth Sense made it, and it was pretty intriguing

...until it was revealed that they were in the modern, boring, and mundane world that I was living it...BOO!...you son of a bitch, I came here to escape reality, go fuck yourself you piece of shit!

He had ruined the entire story which I had been enjoying at the very end, and in one foul swoop.
