RE: The death of a pet animal
I am sorry about your little buddy.
Our experiences? We have had a long line of pet friends, mostly dogs. My wife is allergic to cats.
I have little things to remind me of them, and one big rock for the rottweiler.
They all get into your heart in one way or another. They heal the daily hurts just a little bit.

So sorry for your loss Sad

Need to think of a witty signature.

RE: The death of a pet animal
Hi,

Thank you, all, for such thoughtful and kind replies. I often got up in the night for a drink, and looked in on Felix. He would be there. Not last night.

He is now buried in a spot on our allotment. Ours aren't with us all that long, as we get hamsters as adults, either unwanted or returned to the shop. There is even an 'adoption certificate'.

D.

good on you for giving them a happy home. My niece does elderly dog rescue, same sort of thing.
