The faith of a scientist?
http://www.pewforum.org/Science-and-Bioe...elief.aspx

I don't know if anyone has ever actually posted the numbers before, but here they are, at least in the latest form I could find. Although I didn't really look for any more recent numbers.

I was very pleased to see Geosciences as one of the lowest among the sciences, edged out by physics/astronomy but probably within the margin of error.

Scientists and those with a science-oriented view of the world tend not to believe, and appear to be even less likely to be fundamentalist or evangelical. No surprise there for most of us, but this might be good for a quick reference for anyone coming to the forum claiming scientists are just worshiping science.

Interesting numbers. I find it interesting that it shows the young age groups to be higher in belief than the older.. I would have thought that to be the opposite. I can appreciate the fact that they cite their documents, questionnaire and results. Though I am curious where the random 1005 were surveyed from. Either way still interesting.

Obviously. Let's stone him. And while we're at it, let's stone ourselves in the process. Smokin
