I would like to know what an "incredibly large" god would be like. Facepalm
Kind of like a god with morbid obesity.
You know dem gods. The bigger, the better.
Oh wait. Size doesn't matter, (I heard).

They don't even know the Big Bang happened. Scientific theories are merely substantiated plausible explanations of observed phenomena. "Well if things were this way that would explain it."

RE: The first cause argument
Okay, here's the update.

The person that posted that message never responded again, of course I didn't copy pasted your replies, I made sense out of it and wrote by my own words because hell yeah your replies were flawless.
I also found out that rationalwiki is a nice source.

Now there's these 2 dudes asking me for proof of evolution and the big bang.
I wonder why these people won't just google it?
If I post articles they'll complain about it, if I explain with semi-large texts they'll complain about it and won't read half of it as well.
I just came to realize thay this is not worth my time, it's really frustrating, they'll deny everything because you can't see evolution or big bang happening, you know, those believer's common and hypocrital habits.
I just said that I had no patience for further explanations and to ask google instead.
They probably felt like they defeated a demon or two for the sake of their god and honestly, that actually makes me feel annoyed.
I'm quite sure this is a natural reaction, but how do you guys handle it? Do you reply until they're left for words, do you finish it with a death blow (lowly but well deserved "insult" that will surely trigger them) or just leave it alone?
I mean, I'm quite sure similar situations happened to you so how do you cope with it? Any psychologist out there? LOL

It's odd how theists can be happy with the theory of relativity (and the theory of gravity) but the theory of evolution is "just a theory".

Being a prophet and stuff, those that start up their amateur theology with me usually only do it once. Big Grin

The hidden element in the First Cause argument that the amateurs overlook and the deep thinkers obfuscate is the First Effect, that all animation is the will of god. Thus the disbelief of the atheist is the will of god.

Not really. Creationism vs evolution boils down to their proclamation that
my grandpappy wain't no monkey!
Simple to understand for proponents of both sides...
The other stuff starts out with h and just gets more mathy from there. Tongue
