RE: The healing power of Magnets
Some massage places put hot rocks on places that hurt - and that does work. The heat alone does too, just go home and put a heating pad where it hurts. The rocks add pressure through their weight.

The vaporub up the nose works too - it's eucalyptus and/or mint doing that, clears the airways. So does cayenne pepper (or other really hot peppers) and horse radish, ingested.

There are quite a few of the old remedies that do help alleviate symptoms - I haven't heard of any that heal.

I have no idea about the level of craziness she displays - but the Vick's works. Eucalyptus and mint work - you find them in many over the counter cold remedies.

Some massage places also get the rocks off.
