The health plan vote
It's pending right now.

Looks like it will not pass, and trump said he would not come back to it anytime soon if it didn't.

That would leave Obama care intact.

The republicans are just a no-party, all they know is to say no, even when repealing Obama care, their pet battle cry.

Won't be long til the vote is out now.....

It seems like a strategic ploy on Trump's part. Nothing changes, saving him from being The Goat that destroyed health care for millions. He puts the blame of the ultra-conservatives in the House. If Health care is destroyed it will be because they pass something over Trump's passive-aggresive all or nothing act. Trump can then claim his plan was better, but they wouldn't cooperate.

It's all a weird game of bizarro world brinksmanship.

This leaves an opening for the Democrats to grandstand on the issue and offer fixes for Obamacare's problems, but they seem to have no plan. This gridlock comes as a surprise nobody foresaw or planned for.

The man on the spot now is Paul Ryan. Trump has stated plainly "There is no plan B."

It's going to be damned interesting to see how this all plays itself out.

When I shake my ignore file, I can hear them buzzing!

RE: The health plan vote
I guess many republicans have their pants full. Explaining to their electorate why they suddenly lost any kind of coverage would be an effort few like to have on their plate. Especially since the whole bouquet of this bill would explode in their faces by 2018.

When even the FOX FUX turn against them you know they are in deep shit.

Quote:‘They can’t govern’: Fox host roasts GOP over Trumpcare ‘disgrace’

Quote:“At this moment in time, the Republican Party is a disgrace,” he said. “We elected the Republicans to run the House, the Senate and the White House and the very, very first thing that comes up on the legislative agenda they vote no, they’re split. They can’t do it. They can’t govern.”

Varney is a dumb shit. And he got exactly what he wanted. Now he doesn't want it anymore. Fuck him.

Although fixing is the wrong word in this case, I would say. Destroying more likely. But even that seems to be beyond them these days.

Despite the "keep up the fight" lip service from Ryan's press conference it sounds like they're just giving up on it and moving on. Welp, if there were any doubts that Trump and Ryan ain't got no cred before, it's crystal clear now. Better move my money out of the markets 'cause they ain't gonna get tax cuts done either now.

#sigh

Paul Ryan agrees with your assessment.

Is that doctored or did he really slip that impressively?
