As for what I do; I'm a two-time community college drop out, welfare recipient, social contract designer. I'm writing up the ultimate social contract that is going to guide the world for the era, if not for ever - you expect an atheist will be responsible for such an instrument, don't you???

No ??? just can not be me, because i'm so mean to atheists??? No
Self-appointed leaders writing social contracts guiding our behaviour for ever? Ugh, no, thanks!

When do you give up on the United States Constitution and realize that it needs to be updated to eliminate the stupid dishonest politicians who keep fucking-up the country back to the the 13th Century theocracy?

Humanism - ontological doctrine that posits that humans define reality
Theism - ontological doctrine that posits a supernatural entity creates and defines reality
Atheism - political doctrine opposed to theist doctrine in public policy
I am right, and you are wrong - I hope you die peacefullyCool

If you really want to write a social contract that will guide human behaviour for the rest of time, you might want to improve your writing skills.

Sure;

An overview can be found at http://www.secularlibrary.info

and the ZIP attachment contains an HTML directory copy of what I have so far.

I would like an immediate impression, and a follow up disciplined analysis/review?

I would also like to know what political charter you consider to be of the most appealing to you?

Humanism - ontological doctrine that posits that humans define reality
Theism - ontological doctrine that posits a supernatural entity creates and defines reality
Atheism - political doctrine opposed to theist doctrine in public policy

I say you are wrong. The charter system is not about persuading opinion - it is all orders of execution of missions and duties. You can find my campaign tome at the website http://www.secularlibrary.info

RE: The importance of being remembered
I've read a little of that secular library thing and if your plan is the eternal implementation of your guidelines, you might want to think them through a bit more.

For example, gathering during solar solstices and equinoxes is silly because it depends on the inclination of the planet's rotation axis with respect to its orbital plane. Should human beings migrate to different planets with different orbital features, your suggestions might not even apply. But this planet will not be hospitable for ever, so if you really want your guidance to be applicable for ever, you need to take into account interplanetary migration.

Also, if your social contract will benefit all humanity, why do your delegates need security escorts? Do you foresee people who are not sufficiently benefitted by your social contract and who might have the desire to change it?

Please tell me about clause "250. Institution of Trust". How do you plan to institute trust? Through "security escorts"?

I must confess I don't really see the novelty in your social contract. Thanks for sharing it, though!

Have fun.

So writing poorly is ok because persuasion is not the goal; the goal is establishing orders of execution of missions and duties, right? You have given yourself the authority to tell other people not only what they must do (their duties) but also what their goals and motivations are (their missions). And what makes you think that people will share your vision? Are people bound by your views because of your self-appointed authority?

Does your social contract provide a mechanism for its own annulment? If it turns out to be mistaken, can it be easily undone?
