The first thing that came to my mind was whitespace programming language... that's a decent way to hide stuff... at least from people that don't expect it. Probably not so good here though as the whitespace is probably stripped (not in the html part, but in recording the message)


edit: I mean that I don't mind the whitespace getting stripped in html as that's expected, but it the message whitespace is maintained it can still be used to hide stuff.

unless it's in the signature... Then you have to highlight. Anyone who is colorblind probably already knows to highlight though, because people have a tendency to put red on black or yellow on white and I sometimes can't even tell words are there. So if I see empty space, that's usually the first thing I do. I probably should force the css on the page to my own settings, but never really took the time to do that. Even though it is probably easy to do.
