The "mystery man" Faith Healer With Many Faces
Drinking Beverage

Growing up in Indiana was a child that would later become famous He started a "ministry" early on in adulthood, however in 1961 he with his family moved to Brazil which he exhibits one of his faces.

In Brazil his neighbors said of him that he lived beyond his means and seemed to have money from nowhere. He also claimed to his neighbors to be working for the Office Of Naval Intelligence and made many trips to the city of Bela Horizonte, the site of CIA headquarters in Brazil. His childhood friend from Indiana was also in Brazil at this time working for the CIA, and many of his neighbors just thought that he worked for the CIA.

Dan Mitrione. The man that is the topic of this threads childhood friend became
Fortunately for Jones, the local police chief at the time was Dan Mitrione, a friend
from childhood. Mitrione kept him from being arrested or run out of
town, because early on the face of this mysterious man was of a rightwing radical preacher, the son of a clan member.

So here they are in Brazil in 1961, Mitrione is known to be there as a member of the International Police Academy, a CIA front for training counterinsurgency and torture techniques. Mitrione was later kidnapped and murdered by guerrillas in Uruguay, which became the basis of the Costa Gavras film "State of Siege".

2 faces so far. Rightwing conservative preacher and employed by the Office Of Naval Intelligence, living with his friend that was also a member of the CIA, in Brazil.

This mystery man gets 10,000 dollars while living in Brazil so he then moves back to the U.S. to start a church.

Soon after the JFK assassination, Jones returned to the states with $10,000. In 1965, he formed his first church in Ukiah, California, and set up Happy Havens Rest Home. Without trained personnel or proper licensing, Jones' camp drew in elderly, prisoners, people from mental institutions, and 150 foster children transferred often by court order. Among those who contacted him: "missionaries" from World Vision (an international evangelical order that often fronts for the CIA), the local chapter head to the John Birch Society, and leaders of the Republican party, whom his "church" members did voter organization and fund-raising for the Dick Nixon '68 campaign. His advisers included a mercenary from UNITA, the CIA-backed Angola army. Also jumping on board was the Layton family, whose patriarch, UC Berkeley chemist Dr. Laurence Laird Layton, had worked on the Manhattan Project and was chief of
the Army's Chemical Warfare Division in the early 50's.

This mystery man has many CIA and government friends that seemed to help him out in his "church". This church in the beginning would get government clearances to attain mentally ill and foster kids. What was this mysterious mans and his CIA friends intentions with these mentally ill and foster kids? that is later on in the story of this mysterious man.

Another face emerges.
Despite his rather right-wing history, he suddenly declared himself a liberal and a socialist, and a reincarnation of Jesus Christ and V.I. Lenin. At this point, suspicions were developing of his church, which was backed by jack-booted armed thugs who dressed in black uniforms. Using blackmail, extortions, and any other way possible to swindle money from those in his clutches, he took all he could from his followers, much of it in the form of welfare and social security checks. The local press reported about "seven mysterious deaths" of those who attempted to leave the "church" due
to conflict with the mysterious man. Accusations of kidnapping, beatings, and sexual abuse began to be whispered. What were his intentions with the people "followers" that he held in his church by force?
To escape controversy, he moved to San Francisco, and became an important fund-raiser for the political establishment there. Soon, he was schmoozing with the liberal and radical elite, meeting with (among others) Rosalynn Carter and Angela Davis.

The mysterious man was rewarded with being put in charge of the city Housing
Commission, and key followers were awarded jobs in the Welfare
Department. The bulk of their membership came from the unemployed
and dispossessed people found here. The cult preyed on the poor and
helpless, going out of the way to enlist women, children, and
minorities. They recruited many of their members directly from S.F.
mental hospitals.
The mysterious man seemed to receive a lot of help from CIA and government officials with whatever he was doing.

Church???
It was said in public that he was running a church, but this begs the question, why would a church want to attain mentally ill people as members? Why would this "church" get government clearance to attain these people? Why would this "church" need armed guards? Why were the people who escaped from his church claiming abuse and torture? What was this mystery man (neighbors in brazil thought he worked for the CIA) the U.S. government and friend of the CIA doing?

So it's 1977, only 1 year before the death of this mysterious man.

The mysterious man operating a so called "church" somehow then has the money to move his church and many of ti's members to a new location...

A congressmen at the time who was a known strong CIA critic, likely suspected what was going on at the new location of this "church" wink wink. So this congressman goes with reporters to see for himself what this "church" is. This Congressman had been given no answers or help from the State department despite the numerous inquiries.

According to people in this "church" there were a team of doctors, highly educated doctors that would administer drugs and keep records of dosages to each "church member". According to new reports there were a lot of chemical agents, and tranquilizers, and many other things that would be present in a normal hospital and not something that can just be attained by church members or a church. There was enough chemicals to kill several thousand people. These doctors were certainly prepared.

Many of the drugs present were part of what was used by the U.S. covert MK Ultra, which was an experiment in in mind control conducted by the CIA. Note: This "church" was attaining mentally ill and foster kids as members, selecting poor people as well, then by accounts forcing them to stay in this "church" .

So it's 1978, a congressman who is extremely critical of the CIA suspects what is going on, he and a team of reporters goes to visit. This is when hell breaks loose, literally.

This mysterious man had been using many mind control teqhniques on the people in this "church" and one of them was convincing them that one day they might have to commit mass suicide, the project or... church is obviously about to end.

So after shit hits the fan and people are visiting this church investigating, the mysterious man puts on his final face. The face of a crazy suicidal cult leader that convinces his "church" members to kill themselves. But first, when the congressman and reporters were attempting to leave, armed gunmen shoot and kill most of this group including the congressman.

He then brings his "church" members out for a sermon, over 900 of them all in attendance. He then tells them to drink poison and kill themselves. However there were only 4 autopsies done on any of the bodies of the "church" members. So who knows if they were assisted to their deaths by these doctors that were present administering doses by force.

As the massacre unfolded the mystery man is tape recorded as yelling, "Get
Dwyer out of here!" Jim Dwyer was later found at the airstrip,
methodically washing his hands.

In 1968, Dwyer was listed in the publication entitled, "Who's Who in
the CIA". When asked if the allegation was true, he replied, "No
comment."

Yeah, the man with many faces is that guy....Jim FUCKING Jones. Rightwinger, CIA friend, CIA employee, Employee of the naval intelligence office in Brazil, rightwing church pastor, left wing church pastor, cult leader etc etc etc.

So you know more about Jim jones than his neighbors in Brazil did and more than his former church members did? How did you gain this knowledge? How did a preacher get massive amounts of drugs, the kind that hospitals use? Who were these doctors administering and recording shot and dosage? You have a lot if explaining to do as for his past as taking on different personalities.

And what did congressman Ryan's kids think of the incident?
