Heh heh, apparently this is why JWs stopped coming to my place. My dad told me that when I was younger, they would come, but they never ever got out of their vehicles 'cause of our heavy-weight rottweiler/akita cross Tongue Apparently she just looked too scary for them to risk getting out of their vehicles (although, if you think about it, wouldn't their god protect them from the evil secularists' dog?)

God did protect them by making them so afraid of the dog that they didn't come out of the car(I expect it was a car). Checkmate! [Image: tongue0020.gif]

She was a very nice dog; we had her from a puppy and she was well-socialised, so she wasn't at all hard to manage. Both breeds are fairly intelligent, so they learn quickly. But she was pretty big though, so training her to behave while she was still a small puppy was definitely necessary.

RE: The on-going saga...
Update:

Kevin came by to say hello yesterday evening. (On a monday?) It was a little weird, but I think he was just so unsure as to how he should approach such a foreign situation. He brought me a book about organic gardening. I think it was just his way of returning the favor of giving him a book, and he knows I spend alot of time in the garden. He avoided talking religion entirely, until I asked him what he thought of The Greatest Show on Earth. He told me that he was angry with me for a while, and that's why it took so long for him to come by. He was angry that I made him question everything he believed. He told me he's no longer mad at me, but everything is snowballing, and it's very scary. After he read the book (some of which he didn't understand, but said he'd rather talk about that another time) he had to believe evolution, and that made him start questioning other things. He didn't stay long, and seemed really confused and upset. I hope he realizes that he can talk to me if he needs to. I think that what he's going through must be painful. I feel bad for him. I wish he would have stayed for a bit, but I'd rather he did what he needs to on his own time. There's so much I'd like to talk to him about. Reassure him that he doesn't have to be lost. Ugh, it's tough seeing someone hurting. And yet still, he thanked me when he left. He said, "Truth is a good thing. I'm figuring that out."

Sure hope he comes by again soon. I offered him my number, and he said that he liked talking face to face, so I left it at that.

So many cats, so few good recipes.

It's official, you are my new god.

I don't believe Jesus is the son of God until I see the long form birth certificate!

What a jerk! Finally somebody starts showing respect to him and worshipping him, but he just starts offending his followers. Soon he'll be all genocidy and power hungry, I'm warning ya... That's what happened to Yahweh. The ''thou shalt not''s are just the first symptons...
