... I'm not a US citizen. And it's not an assumption. You think I don't watch TV? I diagnosed him as a dangerous idiot long ago.

It can be taken to mean just about anything from surprise to "I told you so" without putting too fine a point on how I really feel and it is perfect for this particular situation.

I like this, and will start using this approach myself, I think.

I like it too. I'm gonna add "oh my" to it. "Oh my, would you look at that."

#sigh

It's not that I'm fine with events, obviously. I will fight them out of self-interest.

What I won't do is spare any sympathy for idiots who voted against their own best interests even after having been told they're doing exactly that for well over a year. If they want sympathy, after foisting this president upon me, they can find it in the dictionary, between "shit" and "syphilis".

Meanwhile, having grown up in, and taught in two states in Appalachia, though no longer living there now, I know only one person (an uncle who is all about money and seeming richer than he is, someone who thus shares a trait with our President in that) personally who voted for Trump that lives there. So while they're getting assraped by Trump, I do have sympathy for them, because their neighbors voted against the communal interest.

Need to think of a witty signature.

It's almost as good as, "Why, bless your heart."

Like painting with one color, eh?

Just because he's not "your guy" - he's a moron, huh????

So how's he win an election?

Ahhhhh, that's right - half the country is morons.....

And they ran Hillary - the most pathetic, unelectable candidate in history.

Who got beat, by a moron.

Glad I stayed home on election day.

FFS Rolleyes I don't like him not because he's "not my guy" but because he's a lunatic. Anyone including a fucking used condom would be better.

RE: The political irony of Trump’s administration
Also for dark irony for rural voters who are predominantly poorer who voted for the Orange One:

NYTimes: Rural areas brace for doctor shortage due to Trump visa policy

Trump Cuts $200 million from WIC (Women Infants and Children program) in his budget.

Just about everyone knows someone with cancer or has had cancer. I have friends in rural Appalachia who are on Medicaid and have cancer...and will probably lose Medicaid under the Trump/Ryancare Plan. However, his budget wants to slash funding to cancer research.

Need to think of a witty signature.
