How enjoyable would porn be to watch if it was realistic?? Tongue

Good schadenfuade... Which I can't spell of course.

RE: The possible negative effects of Pornography
WARNING: Watching porn has TONS of negative effects; sticky magazine pages, needing to wash a load of dirty socks, muscle aches from masturbatin' too much, carpal tunnel, and accidentally getting certain "fluids" on one's keyboard are a few examples.

I'd imagine the most negative effect caused by porn would be a chafed penis...

RE: The possible negative effects of Pornography
I don't think porn is inherently good or bad. What makes it either is the relationship a person has with the porn.

It's like alcohol - consumed mindfully, occasionally and in moderation, it can be life-enhancing. Consumed in excess and at inappropriate times, it ruins lives.

So for me the porn question is - in terms of an individual's psychology, what separates someone who can have a mindful relationship with porn from a porn addict?

Better, actually, in my opinion. And some of it is realistic.

Indeed. I find the fakery a huge turn-off. To see real people enjoying real sex and personally engaging each other is far more satisfying.

have you ever had consensual sex that you didn't enjoy or found somewhat scary?

There was the time I thought I might be about to have a heart attack. I didn't. Was scary though.

Ok, lets get down to the brass tacks. This is my problem with porn. Being female, I find that the women portrayed might as well be blowup dolls or some kind of Stepford women. Most of them are between 21 and 34 and if there's some women who's having sex and she's like 40+ then it's given a special category of "older women" as if older women are strange aliens because they're having sex. It's ridiculous. The other thing that bothers me about porn is that the female orgazm seems either fake or isn't very realistic. I've only seen a couple porn movies where it was very obvious that the woman had a real orgasm. So it's all about the guy and his big crescendo which everyone has to see, of course, otherwise he didn't really do it.

My husband watches pron. I don't care if he does. Actually, I'd wonder if something was wrong with him if he didn't watch porn once in a while.

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.
