The song you have to listen to for the rest of your life.
Object of this thread is plain and simple, if you had to choose a song that would be stuck in your head playing over and over again until you die. Which song would it be? There is no off button either. So... choose wisely.
This, it's a nice calm chant that wouldn't get on my nerves or drive me completely insane. |

Silence, by me.
It is a piece entirely comprised of ultrasound beyond human perception level. Technically, it is music, I just cannot hear it. The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy. You ask the question like it's hypothetical.
I already have this one in my head. It helps to drown out all the voices that are shouting at me. |

Hoochie Coochie Man by Muddy Waters... that could just go on forever and I wouldn't mind.

It's impossible to say, because ANY song played over and over, even in one's own head, will eventually lose its appeal and drive the individual insane. Quite literally.
Having said that, I've been known to put songs on repeat for literally hours at a time (granted, it tends to be while I'm doing other things, so I'm not so much listening as I am simply being entranced by the noise). Through profound pain comes profound knowledge. Ridi, Pagliaccio, sul tuo amore infranto! Ridi del duol, che t'avvelena il cor! |

Not the most technical or mind blowing song....but yup, I could listen to this forever. |
