My point is, you say I must be asserting that reality exists in order to observe it. And I am saying that reality is existence and an observation of it is a confirmation of it.

You don't observe a reality in a dream, you are still observing this reality as it exists in your brain. The reality you are observing is still this reality because its existence is contingent upon the existence of this reality.

When I take you up in a helicopter and toss you out at an altitude of 1000 feet, you will have a calculable number of seconds to contemplate the realities of gravity and acceleration. The reality of the sudden negative acceleration will be a convincing argument.
