And making it a conference call with Stark would be a real good idea.

I like the both of you, but nothing good can come of this if you guys don't talk it out.

I really done have anything else to say nor does he I assume.

I'm tired of addressing this "theist admin" silliness.

Seth is aware that I'm a Christian and that I'm the admin of his forum. Seth calls the shots. Don't like it? Go here.

I'm seriously done addressing this topic. I have nothing to apologize for or defend myself for.

Hellbound's still reeling from his deconversion and the all too predictable negative effects from wielding the ban hammer here. He ain't even got scars yet, he's still got scabs. No reason for you to go pick at them.

You don't. So don't.

Are the new rules from Seth posted somewhere? Since it seems they're being enforced...

The wording is being worked on.

Suggestions vary from a list of very well defined items to "don't be a dick". Smile I like the latter Smile

Basically Seth wants people banned who troll and disrupt the tempo of the community.

So trolls who are not disruptive are still ok I assume.

But don't take my word for this, it's still being discussed. Stay tuned. Drinking Beverage

I thought this forum used to be sensitive to people who hurt. I've seen people be expelled for ranting and raving over other issues, but if someone has been hurt by Christian leadership, well, Fuck 'em. They're old and rude and need to grow a sack and get the fuck over it. Well, maybe some of us weaker personalities can't get over it, so get over it. Some of us are scared by Christian leadership, and even more scarred by leaving religion and being told they are going to hell because they don't believe, or that they never truly believed in God in the first place. If I'm vilified, then so be it. If I see absurdity, I'm going to speak out and mock it.

This place isn't for everyone. Perhaps we need to accept that finally. There are many different atheist forums out there with many different focuses. Perhaps this place is a little fiery for a new atheist who still struggles when faced with religion. Perhaps it's better they leave and find a more heavily moderated forum. We always act like this. People worry about losing members because of the way the forum is or putting people off. News flash: That will always happen. Whatever way the forum is run will put someone off. All we can do is decide what kind of forum we want to be and hopefully we will attract the type of people who fit in with our vision, and I like a vision that promotes free-speech as much as possible and would accept a Christian Admin. I'm sure many here do (and many of them probs joined partly for the free-speech part).

What? The one rule that has come directly from Seth? Yeah, he's a real power-hungry son of a bitch. Dodgy

We've missed you too man. You should hang around. Smile

No hard feelings by the way, I just think you have your head up your arse on this one. Big Grin

You're right Tim.

This place isn't for me with fuckers like you around.

Peace out, gang.

Bye bye.

This is why we can't have nice things.

True. But I like this place and I like the people in it. Religion or not, I consider all of you a part of my life, and it saddens me to see this shit happen. I'm not placing blame here nor there, I can see both sides. I just hope we can and will strive for a better way. Maybe someday.

It's late, g'nite.
