Curious. What is the basis of this number?

Religion is that sense tells us nothing about the actual existence of God(s), only what people believe. It is entirely possible that every religion is false and that at least one God(s) exists.

That people behave badly in their practice of their religion says nothing about the existence of God(s). Since atheism is about the existence of God(s), religion is really irrelevant. These discussions should be about why God(s) do not or cannot exist.

Atheism is the lack of belief in gods, as for why gods cannot or do not exist, we have to evaluate the claims individual religions make about their gods and use evidence to evaluate such claims.

I think many god claims fall flat on their face when they attribute contradictory characteristics to a god. For instance, omnipotence, can an all powerful god make a burrito so big he can't eat it?

Instant contradictions arise.........

What justifies your arbitrary discussion limits? What's wrong with discussing errors in beliefs pertaining to specific gods, religions, or to all of them?

I am not accountable to any God. I am accountable to myself - and not because I think I am God as some theists would try to assert - but because, no matter what actions I take, thoughts I think, or words I utter, I have to be able to live with myself.

Because they are irrelevant to the question of the existence of God(s). Whatever errors exist in some religion says nothing about the validity of atheism. It's just a smoke screen, as if you have nothing relevant to talk about.

So what? A lot of things are discussed here and plenty of them have nothing to do with the existence of god(s). You seem to have an odd definition of "relevant". Consider
