I live in Houston. Its east TX so Plenty of madness to be found here. Its a large city so the madness is certainly amplified, but on an up-note, it is easier to find freethinkers in a metropolis as opposed to the backwoods. Houston does have it's atheist clubs however, and as far as I know there is one Houston Church of Freethinkers here as well. Unfortunately, due to a lack of decent funding, but mostly due to the very large risk of being ruthlessly vandalized and set ablaze, the Church of Freethinkers does not own a building or meeting spot and has to meet at a Holiday Inn conference room every other Sunday... But hey, its a start.
