Two peoples separated by a common language eh?

I love my Brits too.

Just saying. This is an American website where the majority of posters are American. American English will be used the majority of the time; not that there's anything wrong with British English; however, I wouldn't go to a Brit website and complain that they used the terms "loo", "pub", etc.

I was using it in the way some people say when challenged about bigotry, “some of my best friends are (fill in the blank)”.

I really do have friends who are British though, she is a doll and he is a short-tempered twit, with two lovely children.

I like most chips, just so they're not chips on a shoulder.

I first found them in the original Gardetto's mix. If you can get a hold of a bag, definitely give them a shot.

That's the first thing I go for in the mix. I would definitely like being able to buy a bag of those.

Drooling

Will be on the lookout for them.

In Australia it's chips. It's all chips. Crisps are chips. French fries are chips. It's all chips here.

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.
