Dude. Vintage Ts, pants and shoes are cool. Undergarments, not so much. Rotate those frequently. Confused

RE: Things I will never eat again
I allways remember hearing the older generation mention "dripping sandwhichs"

(dripping meaning fat)

When I was about 20 I worked with a guy who used to have them in his pack up occasionally and he let me try one.

I took a bite.... chewed.... breathed in and tasted............ Then cast the rest of the sandwhich as far away from me as my arm could muster...... dirty Censored

After I recently used that line (and it is just a line) someone said that I should throw them out. Throw them out!? Exclaimed I, outraged... I haven't washed them, yet!

Wrong. Just so very, very wrong!

I don't know where to start.

Are you saying they only made you sick the first time you tried them? Or the tenth time?

Or are you saying they once made you sick?

Chas... you should really know not to go there with Erx around. Dodgy

It was a known risk. I almost put in a comment like "Restrain yourself, Erxy", but I knew it would be of no use.No

So who, boys (and indeed girls) wants to start a thread for the Most Unusual Place You've Eaten Beaver?

I can not believe that some people do not like squid... Here are a few explanation why is that. First of all, you probably had the Ocean one, not the Mediterranean ones... The diffeence in taste is pretty huge, the Ocean ones are much bigger, but also much chewier, harder.

Then there is the correct species... I have no idea how are they (correctly) called in English, but here is a pic...

The left one is a squid ("lignjun" in Croatian) and the right one is calamari (a sort of squid, "lignja" in Croatian). They look almost the same, but take a closer look at the tail. The tail makes a difference. The taste is completely different. Squids are much cheaper as well, here in Croatia its about 3-5 Euros per kilo of squid, and 12-15 Euros per kilo for calamari. Calamari are much, much more tender, sweeter and tastier. If you have to chew it for long, it is either cooked wrong or it is the wrong species.

We have tripe here as well, and it is a huge delicacy in my country. I personally do not like it.

Balsamic vinegar. It tastes like turpentine.
