You are not likely to find any praise for intelligence in the Bible.

The book could remind us of other Gods who were seemingly born fully grown, it's all very fascinating how they came into the world and had some interesting things happen to them but no childhoods to speak of because they were never children, much like this Jesus fellow.

Check out John Prine's youtube video "Jesus the missing years," great laugh. I'd put it here if I were bright enuff!

You are not likely to read any sort of reflection in the Bible.

And all the apostles were sitting around 30 days after the resurrection, and Thaddeus said "Hey Jesus remember when you did that water into wine thing? We could use some wine about now. So The Raised From the Dead Son of God grabbed a few mason jars and soon there was moonshine for every one, and the ladies all got up to dance. "We're celebrating something here a lot better than a wedding, a resurrection, may as well have something a bit stronger than watery wine." J C told the crowd, and for 12 days and nights they ate drank and made Mary and the other babes too.

The Bible is a lot like Treasure Island, the villain is a hero.

The Bible wants people to be supermen, yet humble.

Thanks. I have seen him in person performing. Great guy. He does mostly his own stuff instead of playing popular songs.
