My response when threatened with hell/I'll find out when I die is usually "okay." This tends to shut down the conversation.

They know the truth and live the way they live anyway. No argument here (Ro 1:24). [Image: juggle.gif]

Despite this money being raised, the council refused to accept the funds and it transpires that the reasons are religious...

Religion rears its ugly head here in Australia too.

Several council-operated—and ratepayer funded—"public" swimming pools in both Melbourne and Sydney (our two largest cities) which have a large ethnic immigrant population are closed to all men and boys on certain half-days in order to allow Muslim women to swim freely, protected from the sight of males. Some council pools have now installed fixed "modesty" curtaining—again at ratepayers' expense—in certain parts of the pools' concourses, in order for Muslim women to attend classes in water aerobics and similar exercise classes in another part of the pool itself.

This is another tiny part of the subtle but insidious nature of the Islamic "takeover" of Australia's long-held ethic of a free go for every one, and our primarily secular-based laws and society of the past 100 years.

And this sort of thing also explains why 49% of Australians want to ban Muslim immigration [http://www.essentialvision.com.au —poll Sep 2016].

LOL... in your theistically-induced mental impairment, you truly and genuinely seem to believe that there's some paranormal paradise of milk and honey that you're gonna spend the rest of your life in when you pop your clogs. This is really so sad, because it means you'll be spending the rest of your days on earth wasting precious time and resources worshipping a mythical, supernatural entity that hasn't been proven to exist in more than 2,000 years, and for which there's not one iota of empirical evidence.

You're forgetting your omniscient god already knew Julep would make that choice even before time began. He knew every event, every choice, every action and reaction before it happened. Being an omniscient god, he knew that he would murder millions of people in a flood because of their choices, and he knew his creations would be sinners. He knew ALLLLLLL this before he said "let there be light", before time began. He knows everything, past, present and future. Yet he went ahead and created (according to your silly storybook) everything anyway. Everything he did is premeditated. What a dick wad.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Ahh yes, the cold Christian compassion on display. Every bit as Jesus-like and compassionate as a spider is to a fly, every bit as much thought behind your faux compassion as a spider to a fly.

Your god doesn't see anything because it never existed in the first place and there's no eternity waiting for you when you croak. Makes perfect sense to waste what precious few years you have here on the illiterate scribblings of bronze-age goat herders, eh?

Well, there's a piss-poor god for ya. Can't even see the future. If he's not omniscient and can't see the future then the phrase "God has a plan" is just something Christians pull outta their ass because they can't think of any other way to explain all the crap in the world.

Gee...ya think?
