I tend to take the time to examine what I think is right and wrong.
If it's right, why do I feel it is right? If it is wrong, can I think of no circumstances where it might be right?

I change them if I realize I am wrong.
You, on the other hand, can be assumed to hold to yours no matter how much evidence is shown against you.
This is not an admirable trait, it's simply another form of fundamentalism that we'd be well rid of.

So being against torture according to you is like believing in a religion?

You called my being against torture "another fundamentalism" as if being against torture is a bad thing.

In what case would you be wrong in believing torture is wrong?
