I think that's a very good question. However, there's no exact answer to it so we could only speculate.
To me, it seems really odd that before I was born and after my death, there would be no time for me to perceive. So, all the reality that I'm seeing right now, would be vanished when I'll be dead. Sure, existence might continue without me but... are we truly aware of what is happening here? Is our perception 100% accurate?
