Time lapse of earth from LEO
Thunderstorms, volcanic eruptions, weather fronts, aurora borealis, day and night. Amazing





Bonus: see if you can identify the regions of the Earth the ISS passes over in the film.

Two things:

I am always struck by how thin a layer our atmosphere is. I don't think the climate change deniers have a clear view of this.

I would give all that I own to spend a month on the ISS.



Wait, was that three things?

Wait, was that three things?

Carl Sagan used to say that if the earth was as big as a typical desk globe, the atmosphere would be about as thick as the varnish covering the outer surface.
